The flagship of the Back Cove fleet, the Back Cove 41, has received new updates and changes worth a new model designation, the 412! While the hull and interior layout remain unchanged, we’ve added several key features including:
Remote helm fuel tank switching system with manual engine room back up
Frameless Direct-Bonded Pilothouse windows with P&S openings
Full-height, single panel, hinged pilothouse helm door to the side deck
Low-Glare Helm with Black windshield mullions
New Glendinning cord reel with power extend and retract
Updated cockpit cushions with magnets for easy storage access
Forward opening engine hatch for improved access
Sliding salon door with power window to starboard
New cockpit options - aft-facing seat AND grill cabinet + fridge, OR (2) aft-facing seats
Volvo D* 600hp now standard
Volvo D11 725 hp option now includes Volvo’s Slow Speed Mode option
The Back Cove 412 is fitted with an efficient single diesel engine and straight shaft. The addition of thrusters, a generator set, and reverse cycle heat and air conditioning systems make her maneuverable, efficient, and comfortable. Her interior is balanced between two luxurious staterooms, each with a private head. Nautically sensible details and Maine craftsmanship can be found throughout her American cherry interior.
On the main deck, a centralized galley serves the open air cockpit as easily as the salon. Long range cruisers will appreciate the dual stainless steel refrigerator drawers, freezer mounted below the helm seat, ceramic cooktop, and convection microwave. To starboard, her U-shaped settee converts to a comfortable dinette while enjoying meals on board. Her cockpit is open and welcoming, perfect for cool mornings and sunny afternoons.
