Clay Campbell, Detailer

Clay grew up in Minneapolis, MN, surrounded by lakes, which fostered his love for the water from an early age. His passion for boating took shape in high school when he discovered sailing, eventually inspiring him to move to the West Coast to live by the ocean. After spending multiple summers in the Pacific Northwest working as a deckhand for San Juan Cruises, he knew he wanted to stay in the marine industry. Joining Bellingham Yachts was the perfect opportunity to expand his knowledge, be part of a great team, and continue his career in boating.

Outside of work, Clay embraces everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys skiing in the winter and hiking, camping, and paddle boarding during the warmer months. He currently lives in Bellingham with his partner and is pursuing a career as a marine captain, ideally staying local in the Puget Sound. With a deep appreciation for both adventure and community, Clay looks forward to building his future—both professionally and personally—right here in the PNW.
