Sabre 38 Express Hard Top
The Sabre 38 Express is the perfect boat for the cruising couple who may have occasional overnight guests. Like the successful Sabre 42 Hard Top Express this new 38 footer is designed and built for comfort, whether underway or at rest. The helm deck is a careful study in ergonomics. Surrounded by large opening windows and overhead hatches for maximum ventilation and light. Views for the helmsman and crew are virtually unobstructed. The helm and mate's chairs, covered in Ultraleather upholstery, provide a degree of comfort rarely found in other boats. To add to cruising comfort, Sabre's engineers have reduced noise and vibration levels substantially with a careful study of engine room ventilation and insulation.
Below decks her hand-crafted cherry interior adds to the sense of luxury, evident throughout this fine yacht. The stateroom berth is low and wide, making it both comfortable and easy to access. A pocket door separates the salon and stateroom while the head with stall shower has private access from the stateroom and from the salon.
The main salon is configured with a long L-shaped settee and, our inlaid salon table which drops to form a second berth. Sabre 42 Flybridge Sedan
Over the last decade, power cruising has become an increasingly popular way for families, young and old, to spend time on the water. Families relaxing dockside or at anchor, enjoy the social aspects of this boats aft cockpit. The popularity of the smaller Sabreline motoryachts was proof enough to motivate Sabre to design and tool a larger boat of the same style. Tooling began in October 1999 and the first hull sea-trialed in June of 2000. The Sabre 42 is the result of our efforts. New for 2005 is the galley-up, 2 stateroom, 2 head with adjoining shower layout. Perfect for 2 couples while cruising! For a virtual tour from Sabre, click here.

Sabre 43 Motoryacht
The Sabre 43 was designed to offer yachtsmen the interior layout, comfort and functional aspects of a trawler combined with the speed and performance of a modified deep-vee hull. The Sabre 43 has a 400 mile range at average cruise speeds, and a top speed with standard engines of 18-20 knots. Her modified deep-vee hull has a 14 degree deadrise angle at the transom and 20 degrees amidships. Propeller relief pockets are molded into the hull above the wheels. Running gear is protected by a keel which runs aft to a point just forward of the propellers. The keel also helps with directional stability in quartering seas.
We designed the interior to offer custom flexibility without driving the overall purchase price to "custom boat levels." A galley-up, three cabin layout as well as a galley-down, two cabin design are available. Standard interior furnishings are in American cherry, with teak or mahogany available as options. The U.S. built Sabre was developed with the experienced yachtsman in mind.

The galley-down version (above) offers two staterooms, a larger cooking space, and an added combination of a lunch counter and chart table seperating the galley from the salon. Along with this, there is also an added entertainment center cabinet aft of the sliding door. The galley-up version (below) offers a third stateroom with two single berths found port. This third cabin also contains a large, cedar-lined hanging locker and an aft facing writing desk. The galley is located to port and forward of the salon.
Sabre 47 Motoryacht
SABRE's introduction of the Sabre 47 in October 1996 redefined the "DOWNEAST" style motoryacht. At one time, a "DOWNEAST MOTORYACHT" described a modified version of a workboat, converted for use as a private yacht. These designs included many famous fishing trawler and lobster boat hulls. In the 1980s several Maine yards began redesigning the traditional downeaster. In the end, only a hint of the workboat lines remained. These new yachts looked more like pleasure craft versions of such famous military vessels as the World War II PT boats. Their flat shear lines and flaring bows introduced the handsome, conservative and rugged look which has now become the "DOWNEAST STYLE." Designed for comfort in rough, offshore conditions, yet capable of smooth running at top speeds of over twenty knots, these modified deep-vee hulls quickly gained popularity as they earned a reputation for reliability and seaworthiness. This model is no longer in production, but check our brokerage listings. For a virtual tour from Sabre, click here.

Unveiling the 2008 Sabre 52 Salon Express
All the aspects and details of this magnificent yacht are executed with boat building skills passed down by generations of Maine craftsmen and women. And by including in her design and systems the most modern equipment and technology, Sabre Yachts has created the ultimate cruising yacht. With the suggestions and opinions of many experienced yachtsmen, the Sabre Design Team found solutions and created features which greatly enhance the experience of cruising this beautiful new yacht.
Her vee-hull with propeller pockets is sea-worthy and dry. Standard Caterpillar C15 fully electronic Acert engines, each capable of delivering 865 horsepower, are linked to Twin Disc Quick Shift transmissions for smooth and powerful operation. The 52 Salon Express will cruise comfortably in the mid-twenty knot range with sound levels in the 73 db range. This one statement is a reflection of the quality and high tech engineering that you will find in this new vessel. No other yacht in its class can boost such quiet sound levels. Electrical services aboard are provided by twin 9 KW generators and her DC system is 24 volt. Molded steps from the aft cockpit provide easy access to her functional and well lit mechanical room.
Her interior accommodations are another world of comfort and elegance. Beautiful woodworking throughout the yacht, pleasing proportions and unusual fine points such as Shoji screens in the owners cabin doors make one feel inside a stylish home on the water.
She was unveiled in March of 2007 to eager dealers and customers alike. Call or email for current 2008 availability as the first several 52's have been sold. To view a video of the launch of the first Sabre 52 Express, click here.
